#### Step : **Launch the App**

* Once installed, open the **Pondo Wallet** app.

#### Step : **Set Up a New Wallet**

* On the welcome screen, you’ll see two options:
  * **Create New Wallet**: Select this to create a new wallet.
  * **Import Existing Wallet**: If you already have a wallet and a recovery phrase, choose this option.

#### Step : **Generate a Recovery Key**

* After choosing to create a new wallet, the app will generate a **Recovery Key** (a list of 12 words).
  * **Important**: Write down the 12-word recovery phrase somewhere safe. This is crucial for recovering your wallet if you lose access.

#### Step : **Verify Your Recovery Key**

* The app will prompt you to verify the recovery key by selecting the words in the correct order.
* Complete this verification step to confirm that you’ve safely stored the recovery key.

#### Step : **Secure the Wallet**

* Set a **PIN** or **password** to secure the wallet.
* Optionally, enable **biometric authentication** (fingerprint or face recognition) if your device supports it.
